This product is PVC Free. Guaranteed to be free of polyvinyl chloride, or PVC. PVC is the only major plastic that contains chlorine, so its unique in the hazards it creates.  PVC production fuses vinyl chloride molecules with toxic metals such as lead, and cadmium, which are added as plasticizers and stabilizers.  Because of the chemical properties of chlorine, the by-products of PVC production tend to be more toxic, more persistent in the environment, and more likely to build up in the soil and/or food supply and otherwise similar chemicals that do not contain chlorine.

This product is created with Green-LAM.  Fleurville's environmentally friendly polyurethane laminate.  It has superior attributes such as moisture-repellency, UV-resistance, and overall durability.  We don't us PVC as other companies do as this is a more environment conscientious process.  Share in the commitment to teaching children responsible stewardship of our environment.
